Hi Gain

This is the output from lspci;
00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corp. 82801DB/DBL/DBM
(ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 03)

I am just curious!

Why do you suggest the HW mixing support? It was working the day before
yesterday perfectly well. It only hangs when switching from one mp3 to
the other. and before playing an mp3 the system sounds work perfectly.
I have tried reinstalling xmms as well.
