FC3, pretty vanilla workstation install. No Applications entry in the top
level menu. There is a Preferences entry, but no PreferredApplications entry
under that.
Applications is (on my FC3) the text on the menu-bar itself.
From there I can go to:
Preferences -> More Preferences -> Preferred Applications
