We usually just have it set to "Random" but I'm the only one in the
building that uses the locking feature of xscreensaver.  I don't have a
problem but then again I'm on fc2 still.  :-)

Good idea.  I will try this.

My users are running normal desktop apps.  Firefox, evolution, open
office, a bunch of xterms.  I doubt it's one of the applications, but
your case does sound like it with a full-screen mode and all.
