thank you Alexander,
let me be more clear.

                                                          --------------
         ------------- - - -----------------
  ISP - ADSL -Gbl IP -----------192.168.11./24 - FC3 - 192.168.1./24- -
---------- ROUTER ------------ Lcl RT ----------------- DHCP ------------ --- PC1 -
         - - ----------- - IP masq - - -
         ------------ local router - - -----------------
                                                          --------------

I want to take off the <Lcl RT> and connect directly the <FC3> to the <ADSL ROUTER> and share
the internet connection from it so that PC1 can access the internet and <FC3>get the global IP
directly from <ADSL router>.
I'm using<Lcl RT>because I cannot share the internet with <FC3>.
So I have some other PCs using it for the internet connection.
With my network looking like this ,
PC1 can make communications with skype(http://www.skype.com) but not with MSN messenger or
Yahoo messenger and cannot access the websites.

I have this in /etc/resolv.conf
nameserver 192.168.11.1

and have this in /etc/hosts
# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1 naxis localhost.localdomain localhost

I set the GATEWAT of <PC1> to 192.168.1.1(FC3) the nameserver is blank
