I just upgraded from RH 8 to FC 3 and have no sound. I saw this mesg and

(#2 cd/etc/hotplug)
(#3 vi black list)
(#4 add snd-intel8x0m to the bottom of blacklist file)
(#5 reboot and your sound hopefully will be working)
