Probably dreaming. They'd do it if it can make them more money (for example by not affecting HP-UX sales, and boosting HP Linux sales, or if boost in HP Linux sales would outweight loss of HP-UX sales). If they release TruCluster and advfs as open source, you don't need to buy HP Linux (just use any-Linux). So you have something you can't tie your customers with, and is concurent to your (other) comercial products.
