Very sorry that I've not followed this whole thread but I have an ECS Mobo with an SiS chipset (Athlon XP 2000+) that I got for my son for Christmas. Its running FC2 and Alsa. Works fine. I've got Alsa running and Cedega. He plays Half Life, StarCraft and CDs, mostly. We're trying to get iTunes going through Codeweavers but that's not working on any of my machines yet. If comparing something there could be of help let me know. He's on (I believe) 2.6.9-blah but I have no particular worries about booting a 2.6.10 kernel on his box is that's important. Let me know how I can help. Cheers, Mark
