Help!
My locally-connected HP LJ2100 no longer works. Nothing prints, but no error messages occur either. I deleted the printer, but CUPS no longer seems to recognize the parallel ports.
dmesg | grep lp
gives:
lp: driver loaded but no devices found
An update: This happens with 2.6.10-1.741_FC3 or 2.6.10-1.737_FC3 selected from grub, but 2.6.9-1.724_FC3 is OK.
"dmesg | grep lp" on 2.6.9-1.724_FC3 gives:
lp0: using parport0 (polling). lp0: console ready
Is the parallel port broken in 2.6.10?
