I suspect that there MIGHT be some compilation issues with the disclaimer that I am a bit of a neophyte. OTH, I have a server with SCSI RAID (0) working just fine with the Korg 2.6.10 - no LVM. Just my opinion but, as the kernels become more complex, the need for customization would seem to increase. Again I'm a neophyte but there seems to be a huge difference in the number of options between the 2.4 kernel that I used in RH9 and today's 2.6.10 offering. > > Other single processor systems here work fine with the 2.6.10-1.737_FC3 > kernel. > I presume there is some problem with this kernel ? > > My System is: > Motherboard: Supermicro X5DA8 > Processors: 2.4GHz Xeon > Ram: 1GByte > SCSI: Onboard Adaptec AIC-7902 Dual Channel SCSI controller > SCSIDisks: Two Seagate ST3146807LW 147GByte SCSI drives > > SoftwareIs: Fedora 3 updated to 13/1/05 > DiskSetup: Raid1 partitions > > Terry ________________________________________________________________________ Total Quality Management - A Commitment to Excellence http://www.TQMcube.com
