As far as I can tell, that is probably it. However, I am new to bug reports, so -- Does the report mean to say the problem was first discovered/reported Oct 13. ? Who is responsible for fixing it? Am I? Learning to amend source code for X windows and then recompiling sounds time consuming and dangerous ! What would be a normal time to wait for a fix or a patch for something like this? Not complaining - just trying to find out the rules. By the way, what's top posting? I see a lot of complaints about it and I'm afraid I might inadvertently do it. Regards Bill
