I'm not with RedHat in any way, but:

It seems more likely to me that the cause of the inconsistency is due to
the ip address of sender's email server is changing. I can't imagine an
organization like RH implementing greylisting in such a spotty fashion.
The three things that most greylist software looks for are:
1) ip address of the sender's mail relay 
2) "To:" address
3) "From:" address

So if any of these are different, your message will get greylisted.
