Running lilo would have overwritten the grub bootloader. I haven't used lilo as a bootloader in some time, maybe there's a problem with it. Boot from your install CD into rescue mode, chroot /mnt/sysimage, and run grub-install. That should put grub back as your bootloader. Then reboot (reboot command). Bob...
