When adding to a bug report, you need to add yourself to the CC. I lost track of a few for the oversight for other issues.
Just a pass-on and addition for others using similar hardware.

Thanks Jim, I didn't know about libsane-hpoj so yum installed it and away it goes. Will test it in the morning.
