Suddenly gxine froze, I used to listen to Virgin radio (see

when surfing by Firefox, now I am not able to connect any longer.
System is a FC3 upgraded from FC2.
If I start the gxine package from a terminal I get:

this happens also in a fresh session, with the machine just booted, no
gxine, xine already running...
Of course system - config-services is not t b included in the picture,
sorry for mistyping it
I upgraded to gxine 0.3.3-3.1.fc3.rf but no improvement, exactly same
sympthoms....FC3 is fully updated
A wild guess: Xine or gxine died, leaving some sort of lock file
in place. When restarting, it sees the lock file and thinks there's
another instance already running. Find that lock and remove it
and all will (probably) be well.
in my ./Gxine directory I have:
config
keybindings
mediamarks
playlist
socket (with a strange icon, a socket!!!)
Is it correct?? and this is when I fired my PC.
