Cisco 350 Wireless just works when the correct driver is loaded (airo_cs). The driver comes with Fedors 3. Exactly the card I am using in my Toshiba laptop write this email with. Check it out. Go to Ciscos website if you need the utility to configure your card but Fedora has all the software to configure it . Hope this helps Cheers Kevin >-- Original Message -- >Date: Sun, 19 Dec 2004 10:28:07 -0500 >From: Wayne Leutwyler <wayne-leutwyler@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> >To: cjlesh@xxxxxxxxx, > For users of Fedora Core releases <fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx> >Cc: >Subject: Re: PCMCIA wireless cards....\'just works\'? >Reply-To: For users of Fedora Core releases <fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx> > > >cjlesh wrote: >> Hey all: >> >> I've been searching on google all day, and not finding the answer I'm looking >for. >> >> Is there a list of wireless pcmcia cards that 'just work' in Fedora core >3? >> >> No downloads, kernel recompiles, ndiswrappers, etc...I want to plug it >into my laptop, and have it work. >> >> If you have a card that 'just works', please post the name, model number, >and revision in this thread.
