The following is what I get.
[root@dev ~]# modprobe st [root@dev ~]# modprobe fdomain
[root@dev ~]# lsmod |grep fdomain
fdomain 17737 0
scsi_mod 112136 5 st,fdomain,aic7xxx,libata,sd_mod
No response to the modprobe command, however I did load the fdomain module.
What, if any, messages appeared in /var/log/messages when you loaded the fdomain module?
Loading the "st" module after the "fdomain" module might not have had the desired effect btw; I'm not sure if the st module will find tape drives added after it's loaded.
