Have you tried double-clicking on the ISO image icon when viewing
directories with a gui viewer?  First time I ever burned an ISO with
Linux was with a fresh install of FC3, and that's all I had to do.  Of
course, it opened up a widget of some kind, and I cannot remember
what, or test it now (as I'm currently on a Windows box).

I'm sure someone else can be more specific.
