I'm still a beginner, having bought a pre-loaded system.
I've got a Redhat 9 system on a home lan with windows 2000 and windows 98 computers.
My Redhat system is full up, so I added a new 60 gig drive to it.
I thought I'd try to install fedora, clean, on the new drive, and let it do all the default partitioning, but the only place I have to download iso images is on the windows 98 computer.
Can I use smbmount from the Shrike system to mount an ISO image over the network?
Is it possible to install Fedora through the network this way?
I think I wanted to let Fedora do all the default drive partitioning and setup on the new drive, which I have not yet tried to partition.
Suggestions or comments appreciated.
