Just to let you know the problem is solved. It turned out that my dvd-romplayer(s) was the problem. All three I bought gave the same random I/O errors during file copy. I returned the ones I bought and got a different type (another manufacturer). When testing these players on two machines, no I/O errors!!!!! Thanks for thinking along with me!! Then test to see if your errors go away. i.e test one error/problem at a time. Finally, test that you can indeed burn utilizing the 2 devices on the same channel, but that does depend on the type of devices you have. That's a secondary issue. If during install you're getting errors, that indicates a serious problem, and THAT problem is the one needing a fix. -- Bill Gradwohl bill@xxxxxxx http://www.ycc.com spamSTOMPER Protected email _______________________________________________ No banners.
