Cpuspeed does not work with either the kernel-2.6.9-1.667 or kernel-2.6.9-1.681_FC3 on my laptop. Dmesg output and the output from /proc/cpuinfo are listed below. Are there any known work arounds for this problem or is there a fix in the pipeline?
Any help would be appreciated.
From dmesg:

speedstep-centrino: try compiling with CONFIG_X86_SPEEDSTEP_CENTRINO_ACPI enabled
