The trick is to tell the network card NOT to start at boot time. When pcmcia services start later on it will start the network card anyway.
if i turn off the network service, after pcmcia gets initialized the network won't start.
He didn't say to turn off the network service, just to tell the network card not to activate on boot. Either use the GUI or change the appropriate /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth? file to say "ONBOOT=no". IMHO the bug is that anaconda sets it to "yes" for PCMCIA cards.
doing this the card will stay deactivated even after, and i will have to activate it manually.
