Bit of a problem with the last yum update (nfs-utils?)

I just noticed a bunch of my partitions weren't mounted, including the
partitions on my USB drive. Doing a "mount -a" remounted the missing
partitions from the internal drives, but not the usb partitions, which
I remounted with "mount /media/usbdrive" and "mount /media/usbdrive1".

Looking for a cause, I see that when yum installed nfs-utils,
selinux-policy-targeted, and a bunch of xorg-x11 package, it restarted
rpcimapd, rpc.mountd, rpc.nfsd and rpc.quotad. I'm curious as to why
it this caused those partitions to be unmounted? A problem in
rpc.mountd or a problem in the nfs-utils rpm %post section?
