This application isn't "menued" in KDE. I finally did an "rpm -qa --dump hal-gnome" and found an executable, "hal-device- manager." This provides the most detailed X display of devices that I have ever experienced in Linux. Perhaps my mini "eureka" is something that I should have known all along but I've never seen it mentioned in this forum.
