Hi...
I've some questions about VNC. I'm never been used it before.
Friend of mine (under my eyes, he's very, very good Linux user - I'm
not so good (yet :))) had tried to configure the VNC on Fedora Core 2
- with no success. He had read everything about it, but still he
doesn't get it where something went wrong. VNC session on
Linux-to-Windows works fine without any problems, but not on
Linux-to-Linux.

Did you start a vnc server on the host? What kind of viewer are you
using? A web browser or a application client (vncviewer)?
I'm trying to use a vncviewer... I didn't even know that it will be use
in web browser... does it?
Yup, if your vncserver is running on :1, for example, you may access the
viewer via a java-enabled web browser at http://<hostname or ip
address>:5801. Note, that, in this case, port 5801 must be open on your
firewall. For testing purposes, you may want to try all this on
localhost just to see if it works without fussing with the firewalls.
