hello all I am new to linux. Have successfully installed fedora core 2 to my machine. Trying to install informix dynamic server. After unzipping the file , l get a IDS2000.cpio file. typed cpio --extract IDS2000.cpi (as root) as per installation instructions and it just hangs for a very long time, ctrl-c brings me back to the command line.
