colleague has a 4-YO (or so) "i" series thinkpad, on which the cd-rom drive has gone south, but he'd still like to install FC3. the system does have a USB floppy drive from which one can boot. so ... what are his options? i realize there's no installation boot floppy any more with FC.
he mentioned that he's used an intelligent boot manager from sourceforge (btmgr) but not in this context. i can certainly make the FC3 ISO images available on the net, but how he gets to them is the mystery.

Aside from the grub option already mentioned, this floppy can be used to boot from .iso images on vfat/ext partitions:
