I still like Red Carpet and it's command-line tool rug better than up2date, apt, or yum. It's much more polished and easy to use. I figure any of them work though. If you want something else then install it yourself. Or make your own custom distro and share with others. :)Unlike up2date, it's not tied to any proprietary
support system.
So apt and yum repos are both examples of a "proprietary support system" now?
