I have been using apt for installs and updating/upgrading, but am noticing most of the conversation here seems to favor yum. Is there any significant difference between the two, or are there any issues or conflicts in using both?
apt is more versatile but yum comes as standard with Fedora and is hence more widely used. There's also up2date of course, which also comes as standard with Fedora. It's just a matter of personal preference really.
