Yes, and once a company comes along like Intel and releases comparable 3D
hardware with fully open sourced drivers you'll see the current providers
change their tune or leave the market.  The providers that can't (or
won't) release open-source drivers will not be able to compete on
supportability, delivery and ease-of-use.   It's really just a matter of
time.
