security/errata notices for fedora?

Before fedora, I would routinely check redhat for
security/errata notices to keep uptodate on things.
Is there anything comparable for fedora?

This morning, I am running "yum update" and am
surprised to see a new kernel update. How would I
inform myself of what this kernel update addresses?
Or inform myself of the purpose of any other update?
