RE: fc 3 powerdown hang

 This happens to me on a nForce chipset as well.  I wouldn't really consider
it a "freeze".  The OS is done shutting down.  The last thing it does is
call the acpi_power_off to kill the power.  Unfortunately, the BIOS isn't
responding to the power off request.

I just cut the power to turn it off.

Hello Wong Kwok-hon
	What kind of configuration and hardware you got? Mine is AMD with
gForece 2 64meg. I installed both simple and tradition Chinese fonts but the
default system fonts is English. Currently I am not sure whether this hang
occur bfore I installed nVidia Driver or not. Also I turned off acpi in
services but did not solve the hang. When was your first encountered of this
hang?
