Hi people, I just updated to FC3 (clean install) and when I try to burn o erase a CDRW with k3b (like a regular user and root too) nothing happens. The window where the output of cdrecord should appears don't display any information. If I take a look to the messages log and I can see the following: /////////////////// Nov 13 16:35:36 Malena kernel: hdc: status timeout: status=0xd0 { Busy } Nov 13 16:35:36 Malena kernel: hdc: status timeout: error=0xd0LastFailedSense 0x0d Nov 13 16:35:36 Malena kernel: hdc: DMA disabled Nov 13 16:35:36 Malena kernel: hdc: drive not ready for command Nov 13 16:35:37 Malena kernel: hdc: ATAPI reset complete Nov 13 16:35:37 Malena kernel: hdc: request sense failure: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error } Nov 13 16:35:37 Malena kernel: hdc: request sense failure: error=0x50LastFailedSense 0x05 Nov 13 16:35:37 Malena kernel: hdc: request sense failure: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error } Nov 13 16:35:37 Malena kernel: hdc: request sense failure: error=0x50LastFailedSense 0x05 /////////////////// I have testing the CDRW drive with Knoppix and works fine (k3b also) with the same media where FC3 fails. Anyone has more information or can tell me what to try to fix this problem. I don't like with a Knoppix CD to do my burn stuff... Thanks in advance.
