DSL seems to suck, especially > when its PPPOE. I'm going to have to disagree, somewhat. I don't have to share my bandwidth with the others in the surrounding neighborhoods, and I haven't lost my DSL connection yet, which I can't say with my previous cable connection. In addition, I've got multiple IPs, and because my DSL modem/router (Netopia Cayman unit) is handling the authentication for PPPoE, I don't have to worry about whether or not my firewall computer is keeping up with the connection. -- Mike Burger http://www.bubbanfriends.org Visit the Dog Pound II BBS telnet://dogpound2.citadel.org or http://dogpound2.citadel.org To be notified of updates to the web site, visit http://www.bubbanfriends.org/mailman/listinfo/site-update, or send a message to: site-update-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with a message of: subscribe
