HI, I AM IN TEXAS. I LOADED FEDORA AND WINDOWS XP.
FEDORA DOESNT FIND SBCGLOBAL. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?

Wow, what an unfriendly manner to post. All uppercase means crying.

Please closely read

http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

and reask your question in a way which makes it possible to answer
without need to wildly guess what internet connection you might have and
what you already did to go online. And please read the docs

http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-9-Manual/custom-guide/

Steve,

Unless you're using busness services from SBCGlobal or have a router, then you're going to have to set up PPPOE. I'm not sure what the steps are for this, but someone else on the list may know.

Thx,
Phillip
