This probably won't help, but I thought I'd include it since I just did this last night and it worked for me. My situation was that I downloaded the FC2 rescue iso image and wanted to burn that to a CD. Here's what I did: # su - root # cdrecord --dev=/dev/cdwriter <iso image name> (I looked in /dev and did 'ls cd*' and found the cdwriter device) That's it - and that worked for me. HTH.
