I use Xnews on Windows. Anyone use it and Pan and can offer a comparison? I live by Xnews' scoring feature, so any Linux newsreader I consider would have to include that. I also like it's ability to use multiple identities, associated with different groups, so I can use one identity for "business" groups like comp and another "personal" identity for alt and rec. Xnews tags my Message-ID's with an identity-based string and gives messages including that string in their references high scores so replies to my posts stand out.
