You mean ID 2 and 3? LUN is something different.

What did happen in the syslog when you loaded the aic7xxx driver? The
logs are always the starting point.

Yes I do mean ID 2 and 3. Sorry for the confusion.

There is nothing in any of the /var/log files relating to installing aic7xxx
