I would recommend configuring samba with system-configure-samba.
Since i am using Fedora with the swedish language and there is two 
sub-menus with a server-kind of name in the main menu on the panel, i
cant tell you what the sub-menus name is. Its in one of the
system-submenus :)
I guess it cant be the system-tools or what ever its called.
Directly translated i have "system tools" and "system settings".
Its in one of them :)
