And having to wade through a long list of old posts that I've already read and digested to get to the meat aggravates me. Learn to live with the foibles of others. I have. If all new members toed the line that you've drawn, they wouldn't be new members.

and i mention it because top posting (and HTML posts) are easily the most common aggravations, not only on red hat-related mailing lists, but on most mailing lists of which i'm a member. and if new members could be told right up front not to do such things, the world would be a better place.
