Don't you think you might rework this part of the samba.conf file?


Would this be to help get the printing going or just a as good security precaution? Access to SMB shares on the machine are fine and this particular network is isolated to one building. But I guess it couldn't hurt :-)

Yes Mike, sorry, it is a security feature. I should have been clear
about that.

I still recommend you use the samba shared printer for the Win98
client(s) and IPP printer shares through Cups for the other clients.
