proxy problem

Hi
I have a problem with my internet connectin in Fedora Core 1
I am connected to the internet trough a local network.The server has
Windows 2000 server and as a proxy server has WinRoute
My web pages won`t load because my browse can`t connect to the proxy
server.Everything else works except web browsing
