Your DSL security is only as good as you and your security practices.I've had my DSL for over six years....... Even tho' my router has all the things you mentioned, I still run firewall or IDS AND anti-virus on all internal machines. On the Linux box, Fire starter is a decent firewall. I use port forwarding for specific services like FTP from the router to specific machines. I check my security logs (including e-mail) and ban any offending IPs. It is good to be paranoid....it will keep you from getting infected or compromised. Shadow
