I am running SMP with SMT scheduling and I am satisfied that it works
well. I do a lot of compiling usually with the make -j3 option. While
this is going in the background I see little if any impact to system
responsiveness while I am doing other tasks. I did recompile the kernel
with P4 specific processor selected to get a few optimizations and the
system does run a bit faster.
