Solution: Wireless internet access for Dell D600

A few days ago I posted a question about obtaining driver options for
the Centrino wireless access on a Dell D600 laptop.

Evidently there is a project about this with drivers.  Am posting this
should others need it.

Now I just have to figure out how to install and configure (I'm new to
Linux).
