vlad has a point - what are you using to write the cd´s (application name)?
btw, once I downloaded my ISO file again (& checked the MD5 as being correct) ... FC2 installed fine, and has been running great ever since on 2 of my 4 linux boxes.

How are you burning the CD? Have you checked the MD5Sum on the image? ... On my first attempt atmaking a bootable cd-rom
the file was corrupted according to the MD5 - wouldn´t boot. As far as I know, the ONLY way to install FC2 is to boot the CD.
