People are treating your reboot problem but I syspect the reasoon you are npot geting anything on your panel is that the .gnome* files for RH 9 are incompatible with FC2. So erasing all the .gnome* files and directories and then restarting the Window manager with a ctl-bkspace should fix that, If theire is still trouble with the panel create a new temporary user and see if the panel is ok for that user. > > But when I need to reboot or shutdown, it won't. How about ctl-alt-del from the console? The problen is really the upgrade from RH 9 to FC2. You would have gotten better results if you had saves what you wanted to save on a CD or other location and install FC2 from scratch. -- ------------------------------------------- Aaron Konstam Computer Science Trinity University One Trinity Place.
