If you do such things, a general tip: in one terminal let run "tail -f /var/log/messages" and in a second one run the command. While executing the command you will see in the terminal with the messages log file activity. > Should I reboot since kudzu found the card on the initial boot? No, then the module will not be loaded. You will set alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx in the /etc/modprobe.conf file. And while the module is loaded you recreate the initial ram disk image with mkinitrd. The ram disk image file is to be replaced under /boot/. Then you can reboot and the module is loaded at start time automagically. > -=/>Thom Alexander -- Alexander Dalloz | Enger, Germany | GPG key 1024D/ED695653 1999-07-13 Fedora GNU/Linux Core 2 (Tettnang) kernel 2.6.7-1.494.2.2smp Serendipity 02:23:18 up 14 days, 19:50, load average: 0.29, 0.33, 0.24
