I saw the same problem months ago when I first installed FC2. It's been discussed on this list several times but it's been a while now. Look through the archives from the last couple of months. It has something to do with the ~/.config directory and Gnome I believe. I'm out of town so I can't get to my FC2 box :( but I know that the answer is in the archives.
