A src.rpm or SRPM is not an rpm for installing the uncompressed source
of a software into your system. A src.rpm is an rpm with packaged source
in compressed form (tar.gz/tar.bz2), the spec file, maybe patches and
other files. All this together is used to build an rpm which the user
can integrate into the system and use it. The rpmbuild process will
create an rpm from a src.rpm.
