Are both these hard drives parallel ATA (old-fashioned IDE), or are either of them SATA or SCSI? 2. What sort of chipset do you have (Intel, Nvidia, Via?) Are either of these drives on some sort of RAID adapter or add-in adapter? 3. If these are parallel IDE, you really do have both of them connected to the same IDE cable, don't you?
